Dân số

Dân số trung bình năm 2019 của tỉnh Vĩnh Phúc là 1.154.836 người, tăng 16.466 người, tương ứng tăng 1,45% so với năm 2018. Trong đó, có 295.200 người sống ở khu vực thành thị, chiếm 25,56%; 859.636 người sống ở khu vực nông thôn, chiếm 74,44%; dân số nam là 575.460 người, chiếm 49,83%; dân số nữ 579.376 người, chiếm 50,17%.

Tỷ số giới tính của dân số tỉnh Vĩnh Phúc năm 2019 là 99,32 nam/100 nữ; tỷ số này ở khu vực thành thị là 97,78% và ở khu vực nông thôn là 99,86%. Tỷ lệ tăng tự nhiên dân số năm 2019 là 11,3‰; tổng tỷ suất sinh là 2,39 con/phụ nữ; tỷ suất chết của trẻ em dưới 1 tuổi là 12,2‰; tỷ suất chết của trẻ em dưới 5 tuổi là 18,3‰.

Tuổi thọ trung bình của dân số tỉnh Vĩnh Phúc năm 2019 là 74,3 năm; nam giới có tuổi thọ trung bình là 71,8 năm, trong khi nữ giới là 77 năm. Dân số tỉnh Vĩnh Phúc có tuổi kết hôn trung bình lần đầu là 23,8; tỷ lệ người dân từ 15 tuổi trở lên biết chữ đạt 98,7%.

Lao động và việc làm

Lực lượng lao động từ 15 tuổi trở lên của tỉnh năm 2019 là 647.421 người. Trong đó, lao động nam chiếm 49,21%, lao động nữ chiếm 50,79%; lao động ở khu vực thành thị chiếm 23,7% với 153.448 người, lao động ở khu vực nông thôn là 493.973 người, chiếm 76,30% tổng số lao động toàn tỉnh.

Lao động từ 15 tuổi trở lên đang làm việc trong các ngành kinh tế của tỉnh năm 2019 đạt 636.928 người. Trong đó, lao động đang làm việc trong khu vực kinh tế Nhà nước là 37.557 người, chiếm 5,90%; khu vực kinh tế ngoài Nhà nước là 483.271 người, chiếm 75,87%; khu vực đầu tư nước ngoài là 116.100 người, chiếm 18,23%.

Tỷ lệ lao động từ 15 tuổi trở lên đang làm việc đã qua đào tạo và có bằng cấp, chứng chỉ năm 2019 đạt 25,1%. Trong đó, khu vực thành thị đạt 38,7%, khu vực nông thôn đạt 21,0%; đối với nam giới là 28,4%, nữ giới là 21,8%.

Tỷ lệ thất nghiệp của lực lượng lao động trong độ tuổi năm 2019 là 1,79%, tỷ lệ thiếu việc làm của lực lượng lao động trong độ tuổi là 0,76%. Hiện nay, tỷ lệ thất nghiệp của lao động trong độ tuổi ở khu vực thành thị cao hơn nông thôn, của lao động nam cao hơn lao động nữ, nhưng tỷ lệ thiếu việc làm của lao động trong độ tuổi lao động phân theo khu vực và giới tính đang ở trạng thái ngược lại.

Population

The average population in 2019 in Vinh Phuc province was 1,154,836 persons, an increase of 16,466 persons, equivalent to a rise of 1.45% compared to 2018, of which the urban population was 295,200 persons, accounting for 25.56%; the rural population was 859,636 persons, making up 74.44%; the male population was 575,460 persons, accounting for 49.83%; and the female population was 579,376 persons, accounting for 50.17%.

The sex ratio of population in 2019 in Vinh Phuc province was 99.32 males per 100 females; these figures of the rural areas and the urban areas were 97.78% and 99.86%, respectively. The natural growth rate of population in 2019 reached 11.3‰; the total fertility rate was 2.39 children per woman; the infant mortality rate was 12.2‰; the under-five mortality rate was 18.3‰.

The average life expectancy at birth in Vinh Phuc province gained 74.3 years in 2019, of which the average life expectancy of the male was 71.8 years and the average life expectancy of the female was 77 years. The singulate meanage atmarriage was 23.8 years; the rate of literate population aged 15 and over reached 98.7%.

Labor and employment

In 2019, the labor force aged 15 years and over in the province was 647,421 persons. Among that, the male employees made up 49.21%, the female employees accounted for 50.79%; the labor force in the urban areas was 153,448 persons, accounting for 23.7%; the rural labor force was 493,973 persons, accounting for 76.30% of the total labor force in the province.

The population aged 15 and over working in economic activities in 2019 reached 636,938 persons. Of which, the number ofemployees in the State sector, the Non-State sector and the FDI sector was 37,557 persons, 483,271 persons and 116,100 persons, respectively, with the corresponding shares of 5.90%, 75.87%; and 18.23%.

In 2019, the percentage of trained employed workers aged 15 and over with diplomas and certificates reached 25.1%. Of which, the urban areas was 38.7%, and the rural areas was 21.0%; the male was 28.4% and the female gained 21.8%.

The unemployment rate of the labor force in working age in 2019 was 1.79%; the rate of underemployment of the labor force in working age was 0.76%. Currently, the unemployment rate of the labor force in working age in the urban areas was higher than the rate of the rural areas, the unemployment rate of male labour was higher than the rate of female labour, while the rate of underemployment of the labor force in working age by regional and by sex was in the opposite state.
